Cool, I like the idea and layout, but I think your picture would benefit if the whole thing were more subtle. To clarify, reduce the opacity on the eyes, and the text, maybe move it and certainly make it more transperent. Just my two cents... I like this though.

Better the peice would be (I think) if you made text smaller and move it away from the right eye. sharpen the impression of the eyes too. And maybe make a full face...
That last I'm not sure about. Great concept anyway!
